Dr.K. Thirugnanam

Dr. K. Thirugnanam, popularly known as 'Dr. Thiru' in the Indian IT (Information Technology) space, is the founder and CEO of Ascenders Technologies Pvt. ltd. With over 25 years of experience in IT Consulting Services, BPO and KPO domain, Dr Thiru has held key positions in world-class companies such as Polaris, IBM Global Services, US Technology, Standard Chartered Bank among others.

He has been instrumental in consistently delivering live programs and nurturing the student community on various platforms including TV Channels. Dr Thiru also has to his credit numerous international white papers on "Best Practices in IT industry". He has served as a former treasurer at Executive Recruiters Association (ERA)-India, as a key member in the Tamilnadu association of small medium industries mutual association (TASMIA), and as a charter member in TIE and NASSCOM.

Dr Thirugnanam was the recipient of the Pathfinders 2013 Award – Trailblazers of IT & ITeS Industry in Tamil Nadu from Dr. Rosaiah, Governor of Tamil Nadu. Ascenders has also been bestowed with the 'NASSCOM Emerge 50 Award' - one of the Emerging 50 IT organizations in the country.

Mrs. Jayalakshmi Thirugnanam

Jayalakshmi Thirugnanam, the co-founder and whole-time director of Ascenders Technologies, handles key business units such as HR Outsourcing, Sales and internal support functions. In 2008, she co-founded Ascenders Technologies with Dr.Thirugnanam.

Jayalakshmi actively participates in workshops, international seminars, and has presented and published numerous papers on English Language Teaching. She holds a Master of Philosophy degree in English Language Teaching, and is currently pursuing an MBA. Jayalakshmi is also an ISO Lead Auditor. She takes keen interest in tapping the latent potential of people in general, and youngsters in particular who require a platform to showcase their prospective skills, intelligence and creativity.

The primary reason for her endeavor is that youngsters need to be preoccupied in a platform which matches their passion, and curb unhealthy diversions in life. Jayalakshmi hopes to realize her dreams of being instrumental in the meaningful growth and development of the Indian youth.
